Downsize and Organize Your Digital Clutter

I’m excited to join nationally recognized author Abby Quillen to share some of her suggestions for handling digital clutter. Physical clutter can damage your health. In a study done by the University of California Los Angeles, women who described their houses as cluttered, disorganized, disordered, or haphazard had daily patterns of the stress hormone cortisol that are normally associated with post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic fatigue, and early mortality. These women were also more likely to feel depressed. If you’ve

Clutter Is a Boundary Violation

The crossover between the mental, physical and spiritual always amazes and excites me.  We are connected beings and when we ‘tune in’ to what is happening in the physical world we can affect our mental health and vice versa. This month we are talking about boundaries. Often, the word boundaries can bring up strong emotions.  You may feel restricted or freed.  You may see walls or a safe space.   Today, I want you to think about boundaries as they

Recommended Provider Interview: Dr. Lee

Meet Dr. Shawn Lee of Susquehanna Spine & Rehab I am a Chiropractor and owner of Susquehanna Spine & Rehab.  I am not your grandparent’s or even parent’s Chiropractor (I could be though). Back in the day you’d go in, get naked (still don’t know why) and just get “cracked”.  With all the advances in knowledge of how the body works, imaging and treatment modalities, the Chiropractic profession has evolved.  Now we deal with issues that attack all joints in

Client Story: A Day With An Organizer

“I wanted an outside, neutral party.” was the big reason that caused this busy attorney and mom of three to call and reach out for organizing support.  She needed relief for her 7 year old daughter’s bedroom and toys.  “It (the bedroom) had become a point of contention.” Rebekah went on to share.   “She (the daughter) couldn’t find anything,” and then each encounter had become a big to-do, a back and forth between mom and daughter.   Dad tried to help

Be Grateful, Even for the Little Things

This message keeps coming to me from multiple channels.  Whenever that happens, I know it is a message I am meant to hear and share.  Do you ever experience this? I am currently reading, 40 Days of Prayer for my Business by Becky A Davis.  The passage today was a familiar one to me, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” Luke

How do you squeeze more from a day? And why would you want to? It is my theory that the more productive you are, the happier you will be. The idea is that if you are moving in the direction of where you want to be in life, consistently, you will be happier. Productivity is the measure of output for a given input. Increase your productivity with these three proven strategies and you will stay motivated, get more done

Water Bottle Collection Is No More

“I didn’t have to get rid of everything.” When people reach out to us, they often perceive that as organizers we are going to: Think that theirs is the worst space we’ve ever seen. Think that we are going to ask them to get rid off everything. Thank goodness neither is true! Lori began work with us, as most people do, with a Strategy and Planning Session. During a Strategy & Planning Session, we ask a lot of questions to
